On March 10, 2020, China Construction Machinery Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) held network teleconference in Beijing and released officially the theme of the 16th China International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines and Mining Machines Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2021) dated Sep 14-17th, 2021, is “Digital, Efficient, Green, Reliable”. President of the Association Qi Jun, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the Association Su Zimeng, President Assistant of the Association Wu Peiguo and Deputy Secretary-General of the Association Wang Jinxing, Yan Jianguo, Yin Xiaoli, as well as directors from relevant branches and direct departments attended the press conference on-line. BICES 2021 Theme

The theme of BICES 2021 is “Digital, Efficient, Green and Reliable”. This theme fully expresses that BICES 2021 will continue to lead and promote the application of digital technology in the construction machinery industry, and continuously improve the modernization level of product intelligence, intelligent manufacturing and professional level of the industrial chains, so as to provide more intelligent and efficient technology, product and service for customers; Also this theme means that BICES 2021 will continue to promote the concept of green development across the industry, strengthen the construction of industrial basic capacity, and push a high-quality development for the industry.

President Qi Jun stated at the press conference: as the theme of the BICES 2021 exhibition, "Digital Efficiency, Green and Reliable" reflects the organizer's in-depth implementation of Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and practice five development concepts with innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing idea. It highlights the rich connotation of BICES's mission for "technology-led, innovative development" as well as its responsibility and ambition as a Chinese brand exhibition with global influence.

It has been over 30 years since the first BICES exhibition was held in Beijing on 1989, BICES is able to actively grasp the development trend of the construction machinery industry, meet the needs of exhibitors and visitors, and continuously improve the software and hardware conditions and of exhibition results, which show received the attention and support from relevant government departments and all sectors of the community, so as to promote the BICES to be a global industry event with significant influence.

The past 15th BICES (BICES 2019) held successfully in Beijing, China during September 4-7, 2019, which took the show area over 150,000 square meters, 1,263 enterprises from 31 countries and regions participated in the exhibition with the number of exhibitors increased by 20.17% year on year, a total of 151,835 visitors from 76 countries and regions visiting the show with an increase of 22.19%, including government agencies, envoys in China, key users, industry organizations, experts and scholars etc, more than 200 professional media both inside and outside of the industry participated in the event, such like People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, BTV and etc. At this exhibition, more than 10,000 high-tech and high-reliability products of the full-value industry chain were exhibited in the upstream and downstream exhibitors. A large number of new products featuring digital, smart, green, lightweight, complete, and humanized services were unveiled. Some of them were first released domestically or globally.

President Qi Jun also pointed that 2021 is the year of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and the construction machinery industry has always played a unique role in the historical process, especially in the decisive year of 2020, in the face of a major public health emergency that has occurred in China with the fastest spreading speed, the widest range of infections and the most difficult prevention to be controlled since the founding of China, China construction machinery industry enterprises respond to the call of the Party Central Committee, implement resolutely the decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on the coronavirus prevention and control. Moreover, industrial enterprises participate in the fight against the coronavirus actively on the basis of ensuring the safety of self-control measures, strive to return to work and achieve development target. In this year, China construction machinery industry will write a colorful chapter in the decisive battle of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. Therefore, it is of special historical significance to run BICES 2021 well.
